Living Water and a Well through Partnership
Pastor Joseph celebrates 30 people who accepted Christ last month! He says, “From Friday, January 7 night to Sunday, January 9 morning worship, thirty souls—young and old—have the access of Heaven by coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, Amen!” A community received water and living water.
“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” (John 7:37-38)
Under several tents in the heat, with no air conditioning or comfortable padded chairs, the community came to celebrate the completion of the Kati-Lomnava buildings and a drilled well. The church is not about the building, but about believers coming together to worship. Because this was a community event, non-believers came and heard the plan of salvation.
Water and Living Water
The people have clean fresh water to drink now. Even more, the new believers have living water. Jesus describes this in John 4:13-14.
“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Thirty new Christians have the spring of water welling up in them now. How glorious to have new brothers and sisters in Christ. Please pray for these new believers in the days and months to come as they learn and grow in their relationship with God.
North American Partnership in Togo
This project, the Kati-Lomnava buildings and well, were made possible by North American churches in Idaho and Michigan. Pastor Joseph is so grateful for the support of these churches to further the kingdom. Through the partnership of these churches, the community received much-needed water and opened their hearts to living water.
