About Strengthening Local Pastors with Sajan and Mary
In a certain mountainous country of Asia, pastors often have less than one day of training and may not even own their own Bible. Christianity is exploding in growth here, despite challenges and opposition coming from all sorts of directions. In this country, Live Global partners are working to strengthen pastors in their city and in villages scattered in the mountains. They do this through training and discipleship for the pastors, plus education and outreach help for kids and families in the churches. And when times get difficult, as they often do in this country, Sajan and his wife Mary pray that God would provide relief and resources for their friends.
The majority of people who identify themselves as Christians in this country do not know how to clearly explain what the Bible teaches about how a person can be forgiven of their sin and become God's child. Many adults still cannot read but many have learned how to use a smart phone and can access videos on YouTube which are sent to them. Your gift towards 10 additional Bible verse songs will provide these people who lack Bible training 10 new songs written directly from the Bible text of key verses to understand and share the Good News of life in Jesus, and they will be able to freely share these songs with their friends too. The total need for this project is $1300.00
In the flat region of the country temperatures soar well above 110 degrees F each summer but in the winter the temperature drops more than 70 degrees and the majority of people there cannot afford hats or socks to stay warm. Your gift of $3.00 will give a gift of a hat and socks for Pastor DB to deliver to villagers in his area opening their doors and hearts to hear the Good News in their language. The total need for this project is $570.00.
