A Medical Clinic Builds Inroads for National Pastor
Work in Progress: Paraguay
A six-hour bus ride away from Paraguay’s capital, a medical team from the US partnered with a national pastor to run a 10-day clinic. As the medical team treated illness and injury, more than 30 Paraguayan Christians sat with patients one-on-one to share the hope of Christ. At this particular clinic, the team treated 906 patients and they say 179 professions of faith. In the words of the national church leader, Pastor Koki, “Now the work begins.” Building on inroads created during the medical clinics, Pastor Koki and his church will continue to provide spiritual care to his community, discipling new believers and visiting those interested in the gospel.
