About Reaching the Indian Diaspora
Leaders of this project have a vision to reach the unreached with the gospel of Jesus, make disciples, and plant churches in every barangay of the Philippines where Indian people live. They focus on the Indian diaspora, specifically Sikh and Punjabi people who have migrated to the Philippines for business and opportunities. This couple also ministers to an unreached people group from India that has moved to the Metro Manila region and throughout the Philippine islands. A gift of food will be a help to first-generation Christian families who lost their livelihood during Covid. It will also enable the church to give practical help to the unreached people group of Sindhi families as part of evangelism and outreach in the holidays. A cell phone gift will meet the need of Sikh & Punjab families who are now followers of Jesus. It will also allow the church to care for the concerns of Indian families who are experiencing Christian love for the first time. Some poor families use one phone for their 3 to 4 children for their schooling, and some are not able to let their children study, because they can't even afford to buy a cell phone. All schools are now virtual. We are praying to provide at least 10 smartphones. A gift of vitamins is specific to the needs and concerns of Sikh, Punjabi, and Sindhi families facing Covid in the Philippines. This practical and timely gift will open doors during outreach and evangelism and will care for new believers in the church plants.
