It’s hard not to have a place to call “home.”
The CLAY Center staff have been searching and praying for months that God would either provide the money to buy property for the center, or better yet, that someone would just give them the land as a gift.
In Thailand, prices for land are getting more and more expensive. Plus, after the land is purchased, you still need to fill the ground with 4-10 feet of dirt and let it sit for two years (rainy seasons and all) before you can safely build on it.
So even if the land was found, it would be a few years before there would be a place for the ministry to call “home”… or would it?
A missionary and the staff were meeting together to discuss the agenda for a short term team scheduled to arrive soon. Right before the discussion began, Arthit (a partner of the CLAY Center) came up to the missionary with excitement written all over his face. He said he had some really good news, but he would wait tell the missionary after the meeting was over.
The missionary had no idea what Arthit was so excited about. So they went on with the meeting, and as soon as it was over, Arthit rushed over to tell him what happened. Arthit said that a Christian Thai lady that they knew wanted to donate 2 rai of land for them to use for the CLAY Center!

For those of us in the west, 2 rai of land is equal to about 34,444 square feet. The land is worth about 10 million Baht or $285,700!
Not only that, this property already had the dirt filled in and set for at least 2 years, so the land was ready for building!
After many months of discouraging searches and desperate prayers, God clearly showed the CLAY Center team that this is still something He wants them to do.
Now that they have the land, the CLAY Center staff needs the funds in order to build.
Would you consider donating $40 to help get the building started?
