For the last year, the orphanage has purchased drinking water from a water truck for the kids to drink. It’s unreliable. It’s expensive.
What Does the Orphanage Need to Fix This?
Pastor Predestin would like to buy a new water filter from the Dominican Republic and bring it to Haiti to install at the orphanage. A new water filter costs $10,000. He wants to buy the industrial one so it will last, unlike the previous water filter they had.
Where Would the “Dirty” Water Come From?
A water filter is great as long as you have water to filter! Thankfully, the orphanage has its own well and this is where the “dirty” water would come from to filter into drinking water.
