Summer Camp for Kids Who’ve Never Heard

From the games, to the teaching times, and the worship, God worked and allowed the kids who’ve never heard to hear the life-changing news of the Gospel.

Mihai, the pastor of Imago Dei, didn’t have parents growing up. He grew up on the streets of Moldova, fending for himself and making friends with the wrong crowd. But God sent a young pastor to meet Mihai where he was and begin discipling him over time. God in his kindness saved Mihai from his sins and has grown him ever since into the Godly man he is now.

As a result of his own past experiences, Mihai has a burden to reach out to young people and kids who are in a similar situation he was in when he was young. Mihai, and the rest of his Imago Dei church, work hard to share the Gospel with kids who’ve never heard.

That’s why their church hosted a summer camp for kids ages 9-14. Out of the 68 kids who came, 60 of them came from families who don’t go to church regularly. Most of the kids at the camp had never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But they have now!

From the games, to crafts, to the teaching times, and the worship, God worked and allowed the kids to hear the life-changing news of the Gospel. Here’s a video showcasing their time together at Narnia Summer Camp!

Mihai and Imago Dei Church didn’t do this summer camp alone. An international team of 20 leaders came together from the United States, Ukraine, and Moldova. Plus, God provided a group of prayerful donors to help offset the costs of this camp for Mihai and his church. They are still about $3,000 short and are praying for more caring donors to help bring the church’s account back into the black.
