How to Plant a Church in Nepal

They have to make sure each existing church in the Koinonia Church Network is equipped and educated on how to plant a church in Nepal.

The Koinonia Church Network in Nepal has a goal of planting 500 new churches by the year 2020. And they have an incredible strategy to do it. To give it to you in short, they have given each existing church in the network a task of planting seven new churches in a specified location by 2020. Of course, they leave it all in God’s hands and do it all through prayer.

But this strategy has proven effective as they’ve sought to reach the unreached in Nepal for Christ.

One major part of their strategy is to make sure each existing church in the Koinonia Church Network is equipped and educated on how to plant a church in Nepal.

Passionate About Planting Churches

One church in the Koinonia network had the opportunity to conduct a church planting training conference for other pastors, youths, and churchgoers in the network.

And it turned out some of the teenagers who attended were the most mobilized! Our Live Global partners in the Koinonia Church Network told us,

The teenagers were filled with energy and enthusiastic to learn. They were committed in all the sessions. They decided to share the gospel in their respective schools and neighborhood. They also decided that in the future, they will be working under the pastors and helping them to create small groups and build various fellowships in their respective places.

Teaching How to Plant a Church in Nepal

At the conference, the trainers taught from God’s Word about healthy church planting, how to share your testimony, how to pray for church planters, how to create a church planting plan, the benefits of small groups, corporate prayer, and so much more.

As feedback rolled in, it sounds like many of the participants had their questions about how to plant a church answered for the first time!

The Post-Conference Challenge

The challenge set before each of the conference participants was this: Make friends with at least 10 people after the training in order to share the gospel with them and to make a new group.

Will you pray as members of Koinonia Churches are sharing their faith with new people? Will you pray for God to be glorified, that He would save many people, and that He would grow these churches in Nepal?
