A New Teaching Ministry
“There is no god as strong as the God of the Bible!” That’s what two children from a non-Christian family in the mountains of Asia told their parents after the first week of the 99 Adventures Club. Six leaders from the local church have begun teaching the 99 Adventures chronological Bible stories. These stories help children understand the Gospel, trust in Jesus, and follow Him.
Live Global partners Sajan and Mary rejoice that the leaders God has developed are teaching children. They give God glory for the children’s testimony to their parents:
“We praise the Lord they understood and remembered the lesson!”

Pray for the teachers to be faithful in their service and for the Holy Spirit to draw children to Jesus.
Teaching in a Mountain Village
In a previous update, Sajan and Mary shared about a tutoring program at Pastor RK’s church. Young children in the village are not able to make the difficult walk to school. They are invited 6 days each week for Bible stories, reading, and English classes. Some people in the town are unhappy that the children are learning. Keep praying for the students and the teachers. Pray for hearts to change where there is resistance. Pray for God to provide many Gospel opportunities as He ends the cycles of illiteracy and poverty in a rural Himalayan village.
Answered Prayer
Two workers in the English ministry office were very sick. That made it difficult to maintain the teaching schedule. God answered prayer in healing both workers. The schedule is back to normal. Sajan teaches four English classes, as well as a literacy class. He works with others on Bible translation and conducts online discipleship meetings. Please pray for endurance for Sajan and Mary as they strengthen pastors and churches in the mountains of Asia. Pray about what God wants you to do to help.
