Editor’s Note: The following are the words of Patricio, founder of Adelphos Chilean Missions Agency, and they’ve been edited only slightly in a few cases for security reasons.
We have been able to hold two international conferences by ZOOM with almost all our missionaries from Chile, Paraguay, Mexico, Peru, Liberia, India, The Philippines, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and the United States and we were encouraged to pray together and many rejoiced to see me and hear me sharing the Word with them. All glory goes to God.
And this past June, I made my first missionary trip since my illness. I went to the south of Chile. [We got together] to share our missionary vision with a group of pastors, to strengthen them and their churches in the advancement of the Gospel. It was a very emotional time for me because this is what has motivated my heart in these last 30 years of ministry with Adelphos.
In June, our director, Julio, was able to make a trip to [a country in the Caribbean], where we have helped 29 missionaries for many years. This past November, several of our directors were able to travel to our works in the Amazon of Peru. Several Chilean pastors who have never been outside the country accompanied them on this journey and are now giving offerings to our various missionary/pastors in the Amazon. They also raised a special offering for the construction of boat to help our missionaries travel on the Amazon sharing the Gospel.
