They Were Desperate for Rice
Because of COVID 19, authorities have restricted travel in Thailand and have prohibited crossing to the Myanmar side. Recently God opened a door for Pastor Kiatsak and Pastor Jati to visit their brothers and sisters in Myanmar. Authorities allowed them to cross a mountain border on foot and stay for two days. Many of their dear friends have suffered with sickness and hunger. They were desperate for rice. Because of funds donated through Live Global for relief, Pastor Jati and his church were able to distribute hundreds of packages of food.

Many Years of Ministry
Under the leadership of Dr. Kiatisak Sripanadorn, Grace Ministries has been planting churches, training pastors, caring for orphans, and ministering to minority people groups for decades. Pastor Kiatsak and Pastor Jati have visited the border region of Thailand and Myanmar together for many years. God has allowed them to establish churches among the indigenous villages on both sides of the border. Pastor Jati’s church in Bangkok often sends teams to serve in the villages.

Pray for More Open Doors
Pastor Kiatsak says that about a thousand families still need help. Pastor Jati and his church are planning to take a large team to the border region. They will buy food and prepare packages to deliver. Pray that authorities will allow then to visit the Myanmar villages.
“We are looking forward to seeing them again as soon as possible to evangelize those families and show Christ’s love through these love gifts of food packages. Thank the Lord for many new villagers coming to know the Lord during this pandemic.”
