A Cell Phone Charging Station Becomes a Gospel Opportunity

Sam and Lucy are offering to charge people’s cell phones for free as it brings people from the community into their home, and they can talk to them about the purpose of life and the hope they have in the midst of this tragic situation.

Do cell phones charging look like a gospel opportunity? In war-torn Myanmar, a national missionary couple trapped between the military and the local ethnic militia are helping neighbors charge their phones.

Others in the area are asking for money for this same service by the hour. Sam and Lucy are offering to charge people’s cell phones for free as it brings people from the community into their home, and they can talk to them about the purpose of life and the hope they have in the midst of this tragic situation. Sam and Lucy are part of Kim Tang‘s ministry to unreached people groups all over Myamar.

Pray for protection for this couple so they can continue to share the gospel. They have a small house group of around 30 that gathers for worship each Sunday. They can hear the small arms fire and heavy weapons. Image how important it is to sing praise the God who is in control of all things.
