Cristian also went with a group of men to deliver food and other necessities to Ukrainians who are still living underground.
About the Ministry
Christian was one of 12 people who founded a church in Bucharest, Romania in 2003. The church has gone through periods of both growth and decline over the years, but Christian and his wife have committed to the long haul of perseverance in ministry through the church they planted.
Today, the church is growing through a program called The Spiritual Development Plan in which the leaders teach basic Christian truths and more advanced trainings to people in their body. Christian is also leading Bible studies, teaching different classes, and mentoring many young adults who hunger for discipleship with the hope that the young adults will in turn disciple others.
Christian's wife Amy leads women's ministry efforts for the church, including Bible studies and Christian book studies to help women in their church grow in their faith.
Meet the Leaders: Christian and Amy Ungureanu
Christian was born and raised in Romania in a Christian household. The church his family attended led to Christian's salvation and also his sanctification and growth in knowledge of the Scriptures. Christian has a degree in engineering and is also studying at a Christian ministry institute. He serves as an elder at the church he helped plant in Bucharest and leads spiritual development there too.
Christian's wife Amy was raised in a Christian household in the United States and asked Jesus to be a part of her life from a young age. She's had a passion for sharing the Gospel since her youth and God led her to serve in Romania as a missionary in the early 2000s. She met Christian there and after they were married decided to change her ministry to support him at the church he planted. Amy also has a degree from The Master's College and works as a teacher. Christian and Amy have an adopted son.
- Pray for more people in Bucharest to be saved through the ministry of Christian and Amy's church.
- Pray that God would grow the young adults being discipled to the point of being able to disciple others themselves
