About the Ministry
Rick and Thanh began their ministry on a shoestring budget in 2019 on the second floor of a church parsonage. Over the past several years, the ministry has welcomed more than 250 mothers into two facilities, providing them with a safe and loving refuge where they can have their babies. Each day begins with Bible study and prayer. Approximately 20% of the mothers who come through the ministry’s doors surrender their lives to Christ and are baptized. Rick and Thanh work to provide for the women’s needs for one year, although many of the mothers reunite with their families sooner, after their crisis pregnancies have ended and their babies have been born. A few stay longer. The three biggest expenses are medical care, formula, and food.

ick was introduced to Christ as a small child through the influence of a godly grandmother. Thanh came to a saving faith in her mid twenties. Rick and Thanh were introduced to each other in 1998 through a mutual friend. After being married for 17 years, Thanh and Rick felt called to work with children and women in distress.
