About the Ministry

Home church and community outreach is an effective combination for reaching the lost in Jamaica. Pastor Devon started a church plant in Jamaica in late 2014. Currently, they are meeting in a home and have the goal of making devoted followers of Christ in their middle-class community of almost 4,000 people.

The church is always on the lookout for ways to serve in the neighborhood. They are caring for a community soccer field as a way of reaching out to the teens and adult men who play there. They are also embarking on a building project to erect a bus and taxi shelter in the community for people who have to use public transportation.

Their mission is to establish crucial contacts, to do loving and gracious evangelistic outreach, and to build bridges to the people in Jamaica.

Home Church Celebrates Growth

Pastor Devon and his family started a home church and have been doing outreaches and building relationships to grow it ever since.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)
