Fans & Fresh Water for Families

Mediterranean & Middle East

About the Ministry

In dry and less developed lands of the Middle East, many families find fresh water and relief from the heat out of reach. Parched communities rely on deliveries from tanker trucks to bring expensive, precious water to their homes. Limited supplies of this life essential adds to health and safety challenges for families. A simple fan could bring relief for a family living under the desert sun, but even this is a luxury for many.

Live Global national partners like Alaa and Sham and Abraham and Deborah build relationships with families in these parched places. Through a variety of ways, these leaders extend compassionate and practical care, building trusting relationships in majority communities. They’re developing community center ministries and planting fellowships among first generation believers.

By providing for basic needs of water containers and fans, practical helps speak genuine love while also quenching thirst and relieving the heat.

Alaa says, “It’s so hard to get water only through water trucks. Many have very limited water because it’s expensive. Extreme high temperatures and limited electricity (only during day-time), make life here almost unbearable. We would love to fill household containers with fresh water for the families and their kids that we work with.”

Would you help partners like these meet the practical needs of families in the Middle East and North Africa? Your gift will go a long way towards opening doors into the homes and hearts of people in the Majority world.

“Such signs of love are a great opportunity to share about Jesus as the living water.”

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

(2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
