About the Ministry
The Faith, Prayer & Tract League (FPTL) writes gospel tracts and has an army of what they call “Leaders in Obscurity” (LIOs) who daily pray and hand out the tracts. Since founder Dr. Samuel Daniel began this ministry in 1954, they have named 30,000 of these leaders in obscurity who do this evangelistic work daily in India.
Each of them has their own way of distributing the tracts and they are from all walks of life—businessmen to rickshaw drivers. Thousands of people are coming to Christ and dozens of small group churches have started. Dr. Samuel has since handed over his ministry to his son, Dr. Mano Daniel.
Ministry Focuses
Meet the President: Dr. Mano Daniel

Dr. Mano Daniel accepted the Lord at a young age, largely because of the faithful testimony of his father and mother, Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Daniel. Dr. Mano later accepted leadership of the Faith Prayer and Tract League, which he still holds today.
Dr. Mano has been burdened to provide deeper biblical training to new believers. He is working hard to expand the ministry of the FPTL to include sending qualified Bible teachers to train large pockets of new believers.
