About the Ministry

Shannon serves as an evangelist and expository preacher of God’s Word. He ministers to the flock of God and to the lost all around him.

Shannon was a commercial pilot and his ministry was entirely self funded. This changed in 2023 after he was diagnosed with a heart disease that caused him to lose his flying license. Now he is pursuing full time vocational ministry to further minister to his community and share Jesus with those around him.

Meet the Leader: Shannon

Shannon

Hello, my name is Shannon and my wife is Beulah. We have been married for 21 years and have two children, Walker and Riley. My wife and my kids all came to faith at a young age, but I was saved by the grace of God when I was 39. When I was 13 years old I began an alcohol addiction which lead to a life full of physical and metal pain; a life of partying, fornication, fights, and, hangovers. But through the power of prayer from my wife, God miraculously took away my 20 year addiction of alcohol. I have been completely sober without a single desire to drink for 14 years – a miracle.

God had allowed so much pain into my life to lovingly bring me to surrender. On one ordinary day when I was home alone, sitting on my recliner listening to Christian songs on Youtube,  I was completely overcome with my sinfulness and The Holy Spirit convicted me of my life of sin and my rebellion against my creator. I confessed and I repented to my God and HE Saved me that day, right there in my home. When I put my trust in His Son, Jesus, for salvation my life has never been the same. From that day on, I had an unbelievable desire to know this God who rescued me from death.

My life has never been the same since I traded bars for the Church and the bottle for the Bible. I began to study God’s Word constantly and was soon asked to be an Awana leader, speak at youth groups, lead evangelism at schools, teach Sunday school, and began preaching at local churches and some churches in the US.

Prayer Requests

Pray that my ministries would expand throughout the Bahamian Family Islands and Jesus Christ would be glorified

Pray that Shannon’s health would continue to improve as he was diagnosed with coronary heart disease
in 2023.

Pray that God would provide the needed prayer and financial partners for full time ministry.
