About the Ministry
Florin and Ana Tamas have spent years proclaiming the gospel, discipling believers, and strengthening local churches in Romania. Now God is leading their family to Nikšić, Montenegro—a spiritually resistant nation of approximately 600,000 people with an estimated 150 evangelical believers. Their vision is to build meaningful relationships, share Christ with those who have little exposure to the gospel, disciple new believers, and establish a healthy, self-sustaining church led by Montenegrins.
Through hospitality, personal Bible studies, children’s and youth programs, sports outreach, camps, and leadership development, Florin and Ana hope to create lasting opportunities for the gospel to take root and multiply. Your financial partnership will help their family relocate, learn the language, engage the community, develop ministry programs, and lay the foundation for a locally led church in Nikšić. Together, we can help strengthen the small but growing body of believers in Montenegro and equip them to carry the gospel throughout their country and the Balkan region.

Meet the Leaders: Florin and Ana
Florin – I grew up in Bucharest, the capital of Romania and from a young age I received a good Christian education. At the age of thirteen I attended a Word of Life Bible club and even from the beginning of that program God started to work in my heart. He helped me understand that with the kind of life I was living I was going to hell, but due to God’s love I could receive forgiveness of my sins through Christ’s blood. When the Bible club leader gave the invitation, I received Jesus in my life as Lord and Savior. By God’s grace I received a new heart with the desire to obey and have fellowship with Him.
In the winter of 1998, I got involved in the ministry in Fundulea, which is our main ministry. Even though I was just a teenager at the time, I understood that God was calling me into ministry, so I dedicated my life to serve Him. After I finished high school, I graduated Word of Life in Hungary and the Pastoral Institute in Bucharest. In 2007 I married my wife, Ana, and together we are blessed to raise 5 beautiful kids in the fear of God’s love. Ministry expanded starting new ministries in Valea Argovei, Sinesti, and for several years I have been the pastor of the church in Fundulea.
Ana – My family was far from what it was supposed to be. My father is not a believer and did not have the time or resources to care and provide for his family; my mother, however, prayed for us regularly and made sure to never miss attending church. I was around ten or eleven when on a Sunday morning service God helped me realize and saw how sinful I am and how I deserved eternal punishment, but at the same time I was overwhelmed by His love of a father that I never knew existed. How through His love He paid the punishment for me so I can live a holy and dedicated life for His glory. After high school, I went to Word of Life Bible Institute to study the word of God and get equipped for the ministry He would have for my life. In 2007 I married the love of my life and started out family – we have 5 beautiful children, 4 boys and one darling daughter.
