About the Ministry
Andres and Isa work with a Christian retreat center in El Campello Spain. This retreat center is a place for Christians to get equipped with Biblical teaching and a place for them to rest and experience the goodness of God.

Meet the Leaders: Andres and Isa
Andres: I come from Lima, Peru – a city of more than 10 million citizens. I didn’t grow up in a Christian family, but my parents came to Christ when I was around 11 years old. God touched my heart very clearly at a Christian concert when I was 20. I had been very critical of Christianity prior to that and was growing to be a very bitter person – I felt like a failure, and God reached me and I became amazed at the freedom we have in Christ.
Isa: I come from Huizinge, Netherlands – a city of less than 80. Jesus was very present in my heart growing up, but I thought getting baptized and following Jesus would solve all of my problems. High school was always hard for me, I got depressed in the system, and was so numb, that at times the only thing I could say to Jesus was “Jesus”. I went to university to study graphic design, art, and culture, and was trying to find my way in a new city on my own. The study fit me perfectly, but I was in a dark environment, without any friends or fellow Christians. That place was slowly demanding me to give up my relationship with God. I was struggling with my plans, and the direction of my life. I couldn’t live with the idea of paying a high price for success while being far from God, so I ended up quitting her studies and pursuing my walk with the Lord.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
