Getting in on the Ground Floor

After seven years of separation from family, John had thirty days left before returning home to Manipur, India. In those seven years, God provided an education at Moody Bible Institute. The training prepared him for a future of ministry back home in his country of over 1.3 billion people. 90% of them are unreached for the Gospel.

Following in the footsteps of his rich spiritual heritage, John became a Live Global national partner in 2021. He brings a deep understanding of culture, multi-lingual ability to reach people, a combined passion for the Church and the next generation, and a strong theological foundation for work in a dark land. With just thirty days before boarding a flight for India, why would John spend time visiting North American churches?

The Ground Floor with North American Churches

Live Global national partners link arms with North American churches to serve together in God’s global work. Indigenously led national ministries benefit in their own cultures, and North American churches benefit in theirs. As they form trusting relationships, they grow in grace by sharing God’s gifts to each one. During his last thirty days, John shared about God’s provision in his life and calling on his life with churches in Oregon and New York. In the months before, he shared in Michigan and Virginia. Along with giving testimony of God’s personal work, John taught from scripture and explained how God is at work, even during a Pandemic.

“According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it.” (1 Corinthians 3:10)

John knows God has called him home to India to serve Him. With the equipping he’s received John is:

• building a foundation for a lifetime of ministry
• spending time with local North American churches is a priority
• sharing about God’s leading in his life and in India
• rallying prayer for the work ahead
• seeking supporting partners
• casting a vision for believers to come serve in India
