About New Life Ministries with Georgey

New Life Ministries (NLM) began in 1981 and through God’s blessings, it has grown to comprise the ministries of church planting, Bible college, short-term Bible institutes, a children’s home, community development projects, conferences, seminars, and camps. NLM is primarily committed to reaching out to the unreached in India, and all of its projects are with this sole objective in mind: “one more soul, one more tribe, one more village and one more church.”

Trivandrum Bible College—a ministry of NLM—offers a Bachelor of Theology degree and Master of Divinity degree accredited by Asia Theological Association. TBC graduates 25 to 30 students every year - most of whom become full-time Gospel workers to their own people or go to a new place. Some of them pursue higher studies to become teachers of God’s Word.

Meet the Executive Director: Georgey V.

"I thank God for a great Christian Heritage. Both my grandfathers and my uncle were pastors and they had a profound influence on my life. At the age of eight, during the Vacation Bible Class in my church, I received the saving grace of Jesus, obeyed the Lord in baptism, and He became my Lord and Savior.

"In April of 1987, I traveled to Delhi with my family to visit my Uncle. This visit was a turning point in my life. I agreed to attend Bible school and Calcutta Bible College became my home for the next four years. Gradually the Lord confirmed His call on my life and led me into ministry. Although it was my desire to become a civil engineer, the Lord called me at the age of 19 to full-time ministry. There is no greater joy than to be a servant of the Lord!

"After receiving my Bachelor of Theology, I completed my Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Theology. Along with my responsibility as the National Coordinator for NLM, I joined NLM’s Trivandrum Bible College as a lecturer in 1993. I was blessed to multiply myself by training and equipping others. Today the Lord is enabling me to oversee the entire ministry.

"On February 19, 1994, I married Leny and God blessed us with three sons: Glenn, Kevin and Jeevan. Glenn left us in 2013 to be with the Lord. The Lord has also allowed us to care for two additional children in our home, who are now in college along with ours. It is my prayer as Joshua, that 'together with my family we will serve the Lord!'"
