Praying for Safety in Haiti in Midst of Widespread Kidnappings

Despite the relative peace that has prevailed in Haiti over the past several weeks, political unrest and violence have returned. Pastor Predestin recently sent out this urgent message requesting prayer for safety, and that the schools will be able to stay open.
Dear friends and supporters of the orphanage: My Father’s House,
With this note, I would like to give you an update on the situation that is prevailing in Haiti at the moment. After the term “Lock country” which has handicapped the country for more than 3 months; the children could not go to school and the majority of the population remained at home. Now another form of violence has entered the country. Armed gangs have come up with a kidnapping phenomenon in the country. Every day, gangs kidnapped more than 20 people. These people are made up of schoolchildren, small merchants, businessmen, etc. The gangs have asked for very large sums of money to release the hostages. Sometimes the gangs took the ransom and killed the victim. No one is spared and whatever amount of money they find on the hostages, they take it. The situation is very complicated in Haiti at the moment. Gangs have ganged up on people and made videos to show people how they mistreated the hostages. We need a lot of prayers right now. If this continues, the children will be forced to stay at home again.
Will you join us in going before the throne of grace to ask the Father for His care and protection for the children at My Father's House?
