A Safe Haven for the Desperate

The past several months have been filled with turmoil in Haiti. Violent political demonstrations, attacks on police, and intimidation by gangs have ravaged the country, and it has become increasingly difficult to live safely and peaceably. Entire neighborhoods of innocent people are being targeted daily, and not even the youngest are spared.
Calls of Desperation
As attacks on children continue to rise, My Father’s House orphanage is receiving countless phone calls asking for assistance in protecting the most vulnerable. Desperate parents and caregivers are knocking on the orphanage doors themselves, begging to be able to leave their little ones within the safe walls of My Father’s House.
The need is desperate, but because of God’s grace and faithfulness, My Father’s House has been able to take in multiple children, even this week. The photo above is a picture of these precious kids.
"So Far Our Children Are Safe"
The situation seems bleak, but Pastor Predestin remains steadfast. “Despite everything, we know that our God is faithful. He does not stop supporting our ministry. By the grace of God, so far our children are safe. They go to school, find something to eat, and [their] other basic needs are met,” he shares.
Please continue to pray for God’s provision as Pastor Predestin and his team welcome as many children as possible, as well as for wisdom and safety as they continue to look after the orphans already in their care.
