Creatively Sharing Christ in Alicante

God is working in Spain!
Out of 350,000 inhabitants in the coastal town Alicante, Spain along the Mediterranean Sea, most don’t know about salvation and how to have a relationship with God. But God has sent people like Ingrid and Bo to serve in that town to creatively share Christ.
The Beginning of All Things
The official languages for Alicante are Spanish and the local dialect Valenciano. The city is a tourist town, so many speak English also, but right now there's no other existing English worship service. This is why Ingrid and Bo are excited to fill that need with their new ministry called BOAT, which stands for "Beginning Of All Things."
“We're focused on being ambassadors for Christ and a place of light in a city that desperately needs Christ," Bo said.
BOAT has several goals they hope to achieve by God's grace, and with help from others of course!
- Initiate outreach
- Begin small groups
- Lead Bible studies
- Continue with creative ministry (recording music, videos etc.)
- Lead a prayer ministry
How to Pray for BOAT
Right now Bo and the BOAT team are busy refurbishing the building with paint, acoustics, making it handicapped accessible, and setting up the library.
“We have a lot of help from brothers and sisters at the new place! Painting, cooking, drilling, cleaning, assembling furniture, and so many other things... It is amazing to see the body of Christ at work! Mil gracias a todos!”
The building was dedicated on April 10, 2022. Join us in prayer as this new ministry reaches out to the people of Alicante!

Pray for Bo as she has also been able to share the Gospel with people she knows, including this woman who used to be a former client.
“She sent a photo of a Bible she just bought; she's very curious to read it! Please pray that her heart may be touched by the word of God and that she may begin to see and know the truth, through our Lord Jesus Christ!”
