Prayer is their Primary Health Insurance

During the recent holiday, we held evangelistic meetings and invited people from three different locations where we have been passing out The Ancient Path and talking to people about what they are reading. Twenty-Six people arrived to read TAP and listen to us explain the meaning of each page. We have followed up on these conversations and seven people made a decision to follow Christ and be baptized. They are all the very first believers in their families and they are already facing persecution from their families’ members and neighbors.

God is blessing the faith of our partners who continue to share the Gospel when and how they can, even as they are living daily with military check points, power and internet outages, food and fuel shortages and prayer as their “Primary Health Insurance”.

Tungpi

For the last few years-since covid, North American partners have helped with the rental cost for a room where Tunpgi and workers from his church meet with new believers. There is no church in this Buddhist community. Renting a larger space to plant a church will make the neighbors unhappy. “We are praying for a small house that we can purchase for this purpose so we can plant a firm place for the Gospel in this area where we will have freedom to meet with the believers.”
