Harvest Field in Middle East a Strategy to Reach Refugees

Bubu and Bahiti, the leaders of the Discipling Believers project in North Africa, are experiencing a joy disciple makers long for!
One of their former discipleship interns, Aban, lives in the Middle East and is carrying the gospel to a new open harvest field in the region!
The country where Aban lives is more open in regards to border and customs control. For this reason, they see many refugees from nearby countries enter in! And Aban has taken advantage of this opportunity.
Meet Aban
Aban actually grew up Catholic, attending Catholic schools and doing the rituals as many people in his home country were. But, he later experienced a deep conversion and became a Jesus follower. Now Aban networks among church groups and prayer groups in his area to lead different efforts to spread the gospel.
Reaching Refugees
Many of these groups Aban is apart of welcome refugees, which is an incredible opportunity to teach them about Christ! Of course, there is a huge need for discipleship, but Aban and his fellow leaders are excited how God might move to save these people in their asylum country before they go home to their citizenship country.
What a way for the gospel to go into new territory!
God Building His Church Even Still
It's so cool how despite war and forced displacement in the Middle East, God is still building his church. Let's pray this new harvest field is where God moves mightily to save the nations!
