According to God's Blueprint
“To walk according to God’s blueprint is the most amazing thing in this life,” Bubu and Bahiti told us. Following that blueprint requires many many miles on the road away from home and full days packed with conversation, lots of coffee, even more prayer, and sometimes tears as they meet with students for training and planning.
Following God’s blueprint allows Bubu and Bahiti to experience growth in their ranks. One team they serve with has grown from two to eight staff members and interns. As the number of workers grows, so do the needs around them. *E and *A work at top speed with a food relief project in their city, but grow overwhelmed by the desperate situation around them, especially with the elderly and young families. They also spend hours praying with countless people in the darkest places of the city. Some they pray with show up later at church, and a few stay to be discipled.
Following God’s blueprint has opened doors of ministry to young Syrian and Kurdish families. They are eager to join the school program run by *A and *R. Bubu shared,
Excited kids who are hungry for food and games come with their parents who ask deep questions about the meaning of life. We experience a great time of the favor of the Lord and a wide open door to share the Gospel.
Following God’s blueprint also means encouraging believers to open their eyes to the spiritual needs around them. In general believers have a tendency to be busy with themselves; only a few really seem to understand the “signs of the times”. The combination of economic collapse and overpopulation because of refugees opens the hearts of many for the kingdom.
Will you walk with Bubu and Bahiti in prayer as they follow God’s blueprint? Please pray for—
- Thorough discipleship training and a smooth integration into the local church for new believers.
- *E and *A to face the difficult challenges with courage and faithfulness.
- *A and *R to have wisdom as they serve young families in the school program.
- Bubu and Bahiti to have physical strength, good health, and safety as they travel and encourage people who search for direction in life.
