The Spiritual Need in Ecuador
Ecuador is filled with incredible diversity. From Andean peaks to the deep Amazon jungle, or from the Pacific coast to thriving metropolitan cities—the landscapes are just as diverse as its population of 16.5 million people. Most Ecuadorians have Mestizo heritage, as descendants of Spanish colonists and indigenous Indians, while many still make up various indigenous Indian groups that hold to the dress and culture of their forefathers. About 77% of Ecuadorians identify as Roman Catholic and about 11% as evangelical believers—but the number of evangelicals is growing, contributing to the great need for Christian missions in Ecuador, sound biblical teaching and church planting.
We'd love to get to know you and discuss how God is calling you.
