About Compassion and Relief
When the countries and cultures where our national partners serve enter into a time of hardship, we want to help. Natural disasters, disease outbreaks, or financial downturns can cause challenges that are out of the ordinary for our partners' ministries and give us an opportunity to show the compassion of Jesus and provide relief.
Live Global builds relationships with national believers all across the globe, who are already doing effective ministry in their own countries. Since national believers on the ground are the best people to extend compassion to the people in their own cultural context, we work with them and through them to provide relief.
As it is often said, Christians should care about all suffering, especially eternal suffering. Live Global national partners use compassion and relief ministry as a bridge for Gospel conversations. In the words of our national partner Lorena in Bosnia, "In crisis, many people have a lot of questions about God and our faith. We pray that this hard time will also be the time when people will start making steps in a spiritually-right direction."
