Growing Through the Third Wave

Certainly the global pandemic has caused fatigue for ministry leaders across the globe. With ever changing restrictions and waves of the numbers going up and down, it's been a true stretch of perseverance and hope. The church Leandro and Bogi planted in Budapest, Hungary has been experiencing these trying times through the third wave of COVID, but in God's faithfulness, He's brought growth to their body despite it.
The third wave of COVID in Hungary brought lock downs and high death rates, plus many closures for the safety of the citizens of Hungary. The church wasn't able to meet in person on Sundays, but Leandro and Bogi found safe ways to have people over in small groups for dinner, to disciple attendees of their church, and to serve people who needed help.
The media team, through their dedication and love for Christ, worked hard to host online Sunday services through the worst of it. Some people who watched online began interacting with people from the church digitally, and when the church was finally able to open again, some new people began to attend in person. It's hard to know all that God is doing through the pandemic, but it's so sweet to get a glimpse of some Gospel fruit as the third wave settles, and it makes all the perseverance worth it.
