The First New Believers

Pablo and Lisette are church planters in Chile, working hard and strategically to continue Gospel work in Antofagasta, where the first church they planted was founded. The 2021 year didn't start out as planned because due to restrictions in the country, the church had to move from meeting on Sundays in person to meeting online again. Thankfully, small groups like their women's group, children's Sunday School, and their Bible Institute were able to restart in person with good attendance.
But, Pablo and Lisette's work in Chile doesn't end in Antofagasta. They're also beginning a little church in Baquedano. The pandemic can't stop the fruits they're already seeing! They've been discipling married couples, and in March they baptized the first new believers of the church in Baquedano!
"We expect them to be the first of many souls that God saves in that place," the Ramirez's said.
They're also getting ready to start in-person Sunday services there as soon as the city ends quarantine measures. They have three families ready to meet! And the church banner is ready to go.
"We know the timing is up to God, while we pray and prepare the ground to receive the rain."
