The Bible College Is Now Open for Preschool!

"My wife and I decided start PreK because most of the schools were closed since the coup and teachers participate in Civil Disobedience Movement all across Myanmar," Sangpi said. "As soon as we open our PreK parents sent their kids from all over town."
The Faith Baptist Bible College campus in Tedim is bustling these days. The campus is full of Bible College students of course, but now the campus is full of much shorter students as well. Sangpi and his wife began a preschool on campus to serve parents and kids from the youngest of ages.

They chose to focus on kids whose families are having a hard time managing financially since COVID and the coup. Many of the kids come from a non-Christian household. Sangpi and his wife have a goal of providing a Christ-centered, high quality education as inexpensive as they possibly can. Many students are even able to attend for free. By God's grace, they have 30 preschool students this Fall.
"This is Sangta (child in blue jean jacket). He is almost 5. Sangta is one of many PreKs whom we decided to help with his education at Faith Academy. His father was shot and killed by Military Junta as he was returning home from work. Sangta’s father is the first victim in Tedim who was killed by the Junta, there are many other civilians who got shot and killed in Tedim after that."

Pray for the preschool kids who have experienced trauma beyond normal circumstances. Pray that God would soften their hearts to trust Christ for salvation.
